One of the exercises in “The Right to Write” by Julia Cameron is where she suggests you buy a few tabloid titles to find inspiration to create your own make-believe tabloid story. Do it fast, she suggests, give yourself half an hour to get a sensational and crazy tale out from your head and onto the page! Curiously, as if serendipity has intervened on my creative journey; I felt the urge to photograph the front page of a paper a couple of months ago, as the main story caught my attention. It must have been a psychic moment as my past self knew I’d be reading about this writing prompt in the near future…how spooky:O
